how could you not like el goonish shive???? the greatest thing about it is how real everything feels in this twisted other world we come to accept so willfilly. cliched?! whats wrong with you! ellen? grace? are they just cliches??? no! how could they be, I'VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT BEFORE IN MY LIFE

It's a very funny comic, but sorta cliched and too anime-like. 7/10

Quite simply: If you give this comic anything more than 4 out of 10, you suck.

There's some MILD humour in there, but it all drowns under boring romance. Too much innuendo. Overpowered main characters. Boring villains. Too great an anime influence and generally tons of other suckage.

I can't rant enough in 400 charaters. So I'll be breif. This comic rocks. Action, furries, and the ever so numerous GOOD innuendos. This has just about everything. The backstory is so deep that it will be around for a good long while.

If you like web comics and never heard or el goonish shive by dan shive your missing out!!! It's the best web comic I've ever seen! Show me a better one and I would give you twenty bucks! lol. I just got my sister into el goonish shive and let me tell you thats really something that picky prune. Hey leave me alone. And yes you are A PRUNE! sorry I had to write that.

This is definately one of the best webcomics I have read. It has an excellent storyline and is very well drawn; with orginal and likeable characters as well how can you refuse?

El Goonish Shive is definetly one of the most excellent webcomics around. It combines wonderfully written, appealing characters, intriguing plotlines and an excellent balance of humour and drama. This webcomic is a must for everyone. Warning: it is highly addictive and will cause you to push "reload" continously, just because an update just *might* magically appear.

This webcomic is among the best webcomics in existence; the humor is excellent, the art great, and the plotlines suspenseful. This comic makes you care about the characters, and they are all very original, without any "cookie-cutter" characters. And, unlike a number of other webcomics, this comic is updated five days a week, without impacting its quality, or resorting to filler. Read it. Now.
