Webcomic Book Club Review Requests
for MegaTokyo by Fred Gallagher

My favorite comic, by far. The art, the characters, the humor, the plot, the randomness... Even the off-days are funny or interesting. I like gaming humor, I like anime girls, and I LOVE compelling plots. Oh, and cute hamsters. XDDD

MT is worth reading for Largo and Boo.

Piro should just die as soon as possible.

Piro turns the entire thing into a huge great load of anime angst. Largo and Boo are pure hilarity.

First, the artwork. Truly amazing quality and attention to detail. Megatokyo has possibly the best art I've seen in a webcomic (well, maybe Machall too).

Second, the storyline. It's way different from other webcomics in that there's a huge continuous plot. The characters are incredibly fully developed; you can actually grow to care about them.

one reason... the laughter. I've never laughed harder or longer at any web comic, and it's the only one that keeps me coming back, year after year. It's definitely got a target audience (gamers and anime junkies) and as such, there are people who just don't get it. but to everyone who does...
Everyone should read it at least once, from the begining.

I have to agree that megatokyo is a great comic with it's own unique style and flare. I would love to see it reviewed.

It really is a waste of time. But that is one of the best parts about it, It guarantees randomness and never fails to deliver. But when it does take a more serious tone its always interesting. I wish ye o megatokyo a long life of random greatness!

Megatokyo was a spoof of the gaming/anime industry, then mingled with a healthy dose of drama and character development that took it to a much higher level. Subplots abound, each clamoring for attention, yet managing not to get in one another's way - the work of an excellent writer who knows what he is doing. Each installment is a new and worthwhile surprise to be eagerly anticipated/admired.

Who wouldn't want to read a comic about a couple of misfits, their disfunctional guardian angels, squeaky mice on a vengeance...and ZOMBIE ROBOT SCHOOL GIRLS!

IT's hilarious, really

It is an interesting, yet unrealistic twist, on a classic fish out of water (or back into the water in some of the characters case) story. It follows two young men, who just so happen to have everything happen to them, as they travel to tokyo, due to too much beer, and an Otaku's Obsession.
